Announcing the 2nd Annual Stitch Scale Summit
In partnership with MFS Africa, with support from Mastercard, we're excited to announce applications are now open to attend our 2nd Annual Scale Summit on 28 September.
Following the success of our inaugural event in 2022, we're gearing up to host our 2nd annual Scale Summit, bringing together enterprise leaders across South Africa. Attendees can now express interest in joining the event via the Scale Summit website.
Hosted in partnership with pan-African mobile gateway company MFS Africa, with support from Mastercard, the Summit will bring together experts and decision-makers from across South African enterprises for a full day of panels and discussions, as well as a networking happy hour.
"We saw great outcomes from our inaugural Scale Summit last year, and we’re excited to convene experts in payments and digital commerce from South African and international enterprises once more to discuss this year’s emerging trends. These conversations and exchanges are particularly vital today given the rapid pace of payments evolution in the South African market.”
For South African enterprises and international businesses alike, the ability to efficiently and effectively collect and move money plays an increasingly critical and strategic role in their ability to effectively attract and retain customers, and remain competitive. Continued changes in the payments landscape - from the launch of PayShap, to new Pay by bank methods like Capitec Pay, to rising cases of fintech fraud - require payments leaders to be increasingly agile and responsive in order to remain at the forefront.
Topics discussed will include:
- What does a modern payments experience look like today?
- Expanding payment options to reach more consumers: Will South Africa ever go cashless?
- How might we improve UX while keeping fraud at a minimum?
- Shopping anywhere and everywhere: the rise of chat and social commerce
- Disruptive tech: innovations in AI, Open Banking and Instant Payments
- Digital transformation in open banking: the impact of PayShap, Capitec Pay and others
- And more
The event will also include workshops hosted by sponsoring partners as well as Stitch. It will kick off with a happy hour on the evening of the 27th.
The event is free for attendees, but space is limited. Interested participants can apply to attend below.
