As Stitch Group controls more elements of card transactions, we can resolve any issues faster. Our automated anti-fraud solution means all fraud issues are handled under one roof
Centralised, standardised recon + reporting
Track the full life cycle of a transaction with real-time, standardised mark-off files for streamlined reconciliation – without managing multiple parties
Optimised billing through a single provider
Reduce overall costs associated with managing multiple parties and optimise billing through a single point of contact.

Improve conversion + reliability
Optimisations to the way messages are passed to card networks significantly improve conversion and success rates. As an acquirer + PSP, Stitch Group controls money movement and communication between banks and card networks. Thanks to direct connections across the value chain, we also have built-in redundancies and fallbacks to prevent transaction failure.
Faster resolution times, built-in fraud prevention
As Stitch Group controls more elements of a card transaction, we are not reliant on additional third parties to address any potential issues or cases of fraud. Our automated fraud engine can detect and prevent fraud across all transactions, with fraud issues at any point handled under one roof – meaning fewer chargebacks and faster resolution times.

What is a DCSP (Designated Clearing System Participant)?
In bringing Efficacy Payments under Stitch Group, the Group is now one of the first non-banks in SA to become a designated clearing system participant by the SARB. This means we can clear card transactions directly, rather than relying on a bank to process them, allowing merchants to streamline more elements of the card payment process under one provider rather than relying on many fractured players. This enables higher reliability, faster resolutions and streamlined reconciliation.
